Dublin News LIVE: Major Luas disruptions due to incident on tracks

There are major disruptions to the Luas red line after an incident on the tracks.

Trams are no longer running between Black Horse and Heuston but Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus.

A press release from Luas read: "Please be advised trams are running between Tallaght / Saggart to Blackhorse and from Heuston to The Point.

"There is no service between Blackhorse and Heuston due to an incident at Steeven's lane. Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of this disruption. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Green Line services are operating normally with the exception of a lift in Phibsorough.

The statement added: "Phibsborough Northbound lift is currently out of service. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. All other lifts and escalators are in working order."
