A Dublin museum is in contention to be named the World's Leading Tourist Attraction at the prestigious upcoming World Travel Awards.
EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, located in the Chq Building, Custom House Quay, is facing stiff competition from the likes of Table Mountain, The Great Wall of China, Mount Kilimanjaro, Machu Picchu, and the Taj Mahal, making it a truly epic battle.
The award is down to the people's vote, and with the museum hugely popular with tourists visiting the capital, there is every hope that EPIC will bag the award.
The museum was recently voted Europe's Leading Tourist Attraction, beating other long-standing tourist attractions such as Greece’s Acropolis, Barcelona’s Sagrada Família, Portugal’s Ribeira do Porto and Rome’s Colosseum.
Aileesh Carew, Director of Sales and Marketing at EPIC, is confident that they can bring the globally prestigious title back to Ireland.
