Dublin Mid West General Election Ireland 2020: Who are the local candidates and when can I vote?

Dublin Mid West is one of the capital's constituencies in Ireland's general election set to take place on Saturday, 8 February 2020.

There are four seats up for grabs in the constituency, which covers the areas of Clondalkin, Lucan, Rathcoole and Saggart.

It will keep the same number of seats in this election as the last general election. A by-election was held in this constituency back in November. Here's a map of the constituency:

According to Paddy Power, the current favourites (as of January 22) to nab a seat are Eoin O Broin (1/80), John Curran (1/50), Mark Ward (4/6) and Emer Higgins (4/6).

The candidates running in this election are (in alphabetical order by surname):

Eoin Ó Broin (Sinn Féin)

Vicki Casserly (Fine Gael)

John Curran (Fianna Fáil)

David Gardiner (Workers Party)

Paul Gogarty (Independent)

Emer Higgins (Fine Gael)

Peter Kavanagh (Green Party)

Gino Kenny (People Before Profit)

Catriona McClean (Fianna Fail)

Francis Timmons (Independent)

Joanna Tuffy (Labour Party)

Mark Ward (Sinn Féin)
