Dublin man's delight after food brand endorsed by Hollywood superstar Gwyneth Paltrow

An Irish vegan food brand has been promoted by Hollywood superstar Gwyneth Paltrow to her millions of fans.

Strong Roots, which is run by Dubliner Sam Dennigan, has been ranked amongst the top 15 favourite things by Paltrow’s multimillion dollar company, Goop.

The plant-based food brand has been rolled out in US stores like Whole Foods and Wegmans.

And now Strong Foods has exploded in popularity after it was featured on the Goop website and in their email newsletter.

A thrilled Sam said: “We're delighted that Goop is a fan of Strong Roots. Irish consumers have been supporters of us since 2015 and we think shoppers across the US are going to love our range of tasty and healthy frozen food products.

“The team at Goop comes across a wide range of plant-based vegan offerings and we're thrilled that Strong Roots tops their favourites."

Fingal man Sam, 34, recently relocated to New York to oversee the brand expansion of Strong Roots.

Sheely Taylor Goop’s associate manager, brand partnerships and marketing said: “We are frequent samplers of all manner of plant-based goodies here at goop: juiced, powdered, sautéed, raw. Some are more appealing than others.

“I recently came across Strong Roots, which makes plant-based frozen foods, like Broccoli & Purple Carrot Bites and Beetroot & Bean Burgers.

“For someone whose idea of a good time is Netflix and pizza bagels, having the ability to quickly prep a meal that’s plant-based and made with only ingredients that I could actually find at the store—no space-food powders here—makes it easy to be smarter about what I’m eating.

"And the Cauliflower Hash Brown made me crave vegetables the morning after having a martini or two.”
