A Dublin man has received a huge reaction online after tweeting 10 reasons why he loves Cork.
The thread gained a lot of love online when Scott De Buitléir sent out a series of tweets expressing his love for 'the real capital'.
According to Scott, the city, the accent, the food and even Cork Airport are some of the reasons why he is infatuated with the Rebel county.
As well as that Scott also pointed out that he loves the countryside, pubs, the Lee and of course the lovely people.
Out of the ten reasons why he has such fondness for the county, Cork men or "the talent" got two mentions with Scott remarking "Seriously where are all these beautiful men coming from?'.
Scoot's ode to Cork got a lot of love and agreement on Twitter and he told CorkBeo that Cork represents the best of Ireland.
"An open and friendly community, a deep sense of pride in the city's past and present, and a love for life that would make anyone smile. It's a small but absolutely wonderful city, and one that has stolen my heart."
Scott is originally from Dublin however he moved from Nottingham to Cork in 2017 with his partner (also a dub) following him shortly after.
While the couple were living in England they both wanted to come home to Ireland and two years ago they got the opportunity to make Cork their new home thanks to work.
Last summer they bought a house close to Douglas so it's safe to say their feet are now firmly planted in Cork soil.
