A Lidl manager in Baldoyle has revealed the best times and days for in-store bargains.
Roisin, who is the manager in the north Dublin shop, gave Dublin Live the top tips and tricks on when to grab yourself a good deal, whether it’s on food or something from the much-loved middle aisle.
She said: “Monday morning, Thursday morning, every morning we’ve bargains. There’s also bargains on Saturday and Sunday. We’ve fresh food bargains as well as non-food bargains.
“This weekend in Baldoyle, I’ve bargains running from Thursday to Sunday. So today, for example, you can get yourself a 50” TV for €400.
“Thursdays are always good days, mental days.”
According to shoppers, the best time to head to Lidl for reduced-price goods is first thing in the morning when the store opens its doors.
They usually reduce products depending on the use-by date, usually by 30 percent.
The store update the famous middle aisle every Thursday and Sunday, the offers can include a wide variety of items, including from power tools, musical instruments, electrical goods to furniture.
They really have everything but the range changes every week - so you have to be fast before the products are all gone!
Lidl's website, and the more recent app will keep you updated so you won’t miss out on any of the spectacular offers.
The app also offers easy access to the store's leaflets and magazines showcasing forthcoming deals, as well as in store discounts when you scan your virtual club card.
