Dublin Ladies GAA star and doctor Noelle Healy offers coronavirus advice

Dublin Ladies GAA star and intensive care doctor Noelle Healy has offered advice regarding coronavirus.

Speaking in a video on her Twitter account, the four-time All-Ireland winner and four-time All-Star advised people how to help stop the virus spreading.

She said: "Coronavirus or Covid-19 is here and this is the game to stop the spread of the virus.

"If we can work together we can hopefully achieve this and hopefully we can help protect the vulnerable and those with medical conditions in our society, but it takes us all working together.

"In order to do this we need to follow the following steps - wash your hands regularly and do so with warm soapy water for at least 20 seconds.

"If you need to cough or sneeze, cough or sneeze into the crease of your elbow or into a tissue. Make sure you discard the issue afterwards and make sure you wash your hands again.

"If you're out and about try to avoid shaking hands or hugging people and try to maintain at least a two metre distance between you and others around. Work from home if possible.

"It goes without saying that the big nights in and the big nights out are out of the question for the moment.

"If we all work together, hopefully we can help flatten the curve and protect those vulnerable in society.

"If you have any symptoms, please stay at home and please contact HSE.ie for any information that you may need."
