Dublin Jobs: Ryanair recruiting for flight planner for Swords HQ

Ryanair has announced that Europe's largest airline is recruiting for the position of flight planner.

The position will be based out of Ryanairs head office in Airside Business Park in Swords.

The successful candidate will join the team working in the flight operations department at Ryanair.

The shift is based on a "4 on-4 off" basis consisting of 12-hour shifts.

The requirements for the flight planner position include the ability to hold a Dublin Airport airside ID, work and communicate effectively under pressure, problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills with a strong outgoing personality, good telephone manner and PC proficient with programs such as MS Word, Excel and Netline.

Some of the daily duties the successful candidate will encounter include:

  • Developing and implementing solutions for day to day Flight Planning problems
  • Assisting Flight Operations; cost-effective solutions to Flight Planning disruptions/delays
  • Monitoring flight plan production
  • Compilation of reports as required
  • Monitoring ATC messages and react accordingly
  • Preparation of Flight planning paperwork for crews
  • Updating route manuals/catalogue
  • Updating Aircraft Performance Data
  • Any other duties as requested by Operations Control Management
