Panda Recycling is currently on the lookout for a skip scheduler.
The unique role is based out of their premises in the Millenium Business Park in Finglas.
The main role of the skip scheduler is to agree on service levels with customers and to organise the skips and drivers.
The successful candidate will report to the skip supervisor.
The hours of work are advertised as 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and 7am-1pm on Saturday on a rota basis.
The required skills for the position include professional communication skills over the phone and through email, good organisational, computer, and people skills, the ability to work under pressure, and the flexibility to respond to different challenges.
The main tasks that the successful candidate will face on a daily basis include:
- Ensuring all drivers and trucks are out on time daily
- Continuous communication of all relevant updates to the whole scheduling department
- Supervising shifts & time management of drivers
- End of day debriefing for drivers, Adhoc answering and rectifying all driver queries
- Allocating all drivers dockets
- Checking previous days timesheets for issues that need rectifying
- Dealing with breakdown and drivers issues effectively
- Documenting all accidents, incidents, and breakdowns with correct reports/forms or procedure
- Fleet Management – incl. vehicle check sheets
- Answering internal and external e-mails with urgency
- Liaising with another department to complete the service loop correctly, in a timely and consistent manner
- To be prepared to work in a flexible multi-skilled environment
- Work as part of a team with a positive attitude
- Flexibility from your designated work patterns will be required
