Dublin jobs: Dublin Zoo hosting recruitment open day for seasonal workers ahead of busy summer

Dublin Zoo is set to host a recruitment open day later this month, which is a great opportunity for anyone interested in joining their team.

The zoo is currently looking seasonal workers, and the open day will take place on Saturday, February 25. According to the zoo, they are offering retail assistants positions.

In its job advert on its website, Dublin Zoo said: "The successful candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and will have 1 years’ experience working within a retail or customer service environment."

Requirements include that applicants must be 17 years old or above on 10 March 2023, and they must be available to work weekends and school midterms and summer holidays. The open day is an invitation-only event, and places at the open day are limited and in high demand.

Dublin Zoo said in its job advert: "Consideration will be given on a first-received basis. In anticipation of the high volume of applications we will receive it will only be possible to contact those candidates who will be offered an invitation to our open day."

The popular family visitor attraction welcomed in excess of one million visitors last year. Dublin Zoo is home to over 400 animals from all over the globe.
