Dublin jobs: Aldi open new Blanchardstown store with opening hours, 40 position details announced

Aldi’s nationwide expansion continues as they open a new flagship store in west Dublin today creating 40 news jobs.

Fourteen staff members have been recruited locally too ahead of the company's 23rd Dublin store which will be located in Blanchardstown Centre making it 145 stores operating across the country.

Featuring Aldi’s exciting award-winning Project Fresh layout and design, the new store boasts a large shop floor spanning 1,218m², wide aisles and hi-spec fixtures and fittings.

There are also 7,000 free car parking spaces available for customers along with a bicycle rack allowing for 60 bicycles.

The store is powered by 100% green electricity and Aldi has invested heavily in improving its energy management systems with its entire store network now powered by 100% wind generated energy.

The company has made a capital investment of over €167 million in Dublin to date and will spend over €145 million with its Dublin-based food and drink producers this year.

Patrik Polak, Store Manager of Aldi’s new Blanchardstown store said: “Our new Aldi store in Blanchardstown is fantastic news for people in the locality. The spacious design means it is easier for customers to pick up what they need, and our aim is to ensure every customer has an enjoyable shop.

He added: "From all the staff here at the new store, we hope everyone has a chance to pop in and avail of our great savings and pick up some of our award-winning products at unbeatable prices."
