Dublin jobs: 150 new positions announced by Irish tech firm

An Irish tech company has announced they are creating 150 new jobs in Dublin.

Intercom - a software company who specialise in providing a messaging platform for businesses - will be expanding their Dublin operations over the next 12 months.

The majority of the new jobs will be in research and development, with some roles also opening up in sales, marketing, and customer support.

It will take their Dublin workforce up to 400.

Tech giants like Amazon, Microsoft and Facebook are among Intercom's customers, and the company also has offices in San Francisco, London, Chicago and Sydney.

Tanaiste Leo Varadkar welcomed the annoncement, saying: “Intercom has been one of the most influential companies in Irish tech over the last 10 years, showing other startups they can build world-class products locally and expand internationally.

"This announcement is a further sign of Intercom’s commitment to Ireland, and I wish the team every success as they expand their team in 2022."
