Dublin is known as being one the world's most cultural cities, and that has been further backed up after a study found the capital was in fact in the top five most cultural cities in Europe.
The study was conducted by Pullman Hotels of some 31 major cities from across the continent in order to find the perfect place for those looking for a cultural trip.
The data was taken from TripAdvisor, and from there they determined who was offering the widest variety of cultural attractions.

The results were taken by calculating the number of attractions in comparison to the overall size of each city in order to determine an attractions per km2 figure.
Dublin ranked an impressive fifth in the list, with 5.3 cultural attractions per km2.
Ahead of on the list were: Paris, Brussels, Athens, and Lisbon.
Paris stole the show for cultural attractions, coming on top for five out of the seven different categories studied, and having an impressive 20.5 per km2.
