A Dublin hotel is offering an incredible special room deal for €46.73 a night for a limited time only.

The Charleville Lodge in Phibsborough made the announcement after Taoiseach Micheal Martin said hotels may reopen at the start of June during his lockdown address this evening.

Owner Paul Stenson said he chose the "obscure amount" of €46.73 because the numbers spelt out the word "hope" on a phone keypad.

He said on Facebook: "Tonight the Taoiseach announced that Hotels may be able to reopen at the start of June.
