Dublin hotel hires adorable French bulldog as Guest Relations Pawfficer

Ahead of Bring Your Dog To Work Day, a Dublin hotel has announced that it has hired an adorable French bulldog as its Guest Relations Pawfficer.

Monty, who is two-months-old, will be on lobby pawtrol for The Mont Hotel when its transformation is finished.

And Monty, who has been giving licks and cuddles to all of her new colleagues, is to be paid handsomely with at least 1,000 rubs per week and daily treats.

A spokeswoman for the O'Callaghan Collection said that Monty has her hard hat and vis best ready for when she's needed for inspections.

She said: "Introducing our newest employee of The Mont, Guest Relations Pawfficer; Monty.

"The Mont Hotel, previously Mont Clare hotel is coming to the end of a 10-month transformation and has sought the help of a 4-legged candidate to be on lobby pawtrol when the hotel opens its doors.

"After hours of tough negotiations with Urska, The Mont hotel manager, it was agreed that Monty’s remuneration consists of at least 1000 rubs per week and daily treats.

"She is now busy pupparing for the opening of The Mont making sure the final details are pawfect.

"As Guest Relations Pawfficer, Monty is more than capable of pawcifying any ruff situation.

"She will deal doggedly with any issues and won’t go rushing in and barking up the wrong tree.

"She will happily play ball to compromise and will, in dew claws lead everyone to a successful resolution."
