Dublin has the worst quality of air in the country, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The air quality in the capital is located in the 'fair' region between 'good' and 'fair' on the air quality index.
EPA have advised that: "Those with lung and heart problems should consider reducing strenuous activity, particularly outdoors."
