Dublin garage to drop fuel prices by 10c following massive Lotto jackpot ticket win

A Dublin garage that was one of the two locations that sold a winning Lotto jackpot ticket is to drop its fuel prices until 10pm this evening in celebration.

The Circle K garage in Kilmainham was revealed as one of the two Dublin shops that sold a Lotto ticket for Wednesday's draw worth €3.8 million.

The other was the Dunnes Stores in Donaghmede shopping centre.

And they will be dropping the price of fuel by 10c throughout today to mark the occasion.

Joanne D’Arcy, Senior Director of Retail Operations at Circle K, said of the win: “We are delighted to have heard that a customer of our site at Circle K Kilmainham has won a Lotto Jackpot and are pleased to announce that we are celebrating this win by dropping our fuel prices at the winning site by 10c for a limited time today.

"We are also delighted for the staff at Kilmainham and we wanted to extend the celebrations by offering a 10c off all miles fuel to our customers in the locality.

"I would encourage all customers who purchased a Lotto Jackpot ticket at the service station to check it carefully and contact the National Lottery team if they have won.”

The hunt for the winners of the €7.7 million jackpot is currently underway across the capital.

Lotto bosses are encouraging anyone who bought a Lotto ticket in Circle K, Kilmainham or Dunnes Stores, Donaghmede on Wednesday to check their numbers.
