Dublin GAA stars Dean Rock and Niamh McEvoy have announced their engagement just days before Christmas.
The pair have been long term partners and Dublin sharp shooter Rock popped the question to four-time All-Ireland winner McEvoy.
In what was a year of heartbreak for the two Dublin stars as they failed to capture All-Ireland titles, the year will end on a high.
Rock shared a snap as his now fiancée showed off her new ring, and he captioned the post: "If she’s not too busy that day she said she will marry me. I’ll take that!!"
And the messages of congratulations came streaming in with recently retired defender Philly McMahon saying: "Congrats to you both
While James McCarthy said: "Congrats deano and Niamh"
And Ciaran Kilkenny said: "Proud of you both. Buzzing"
The two have also recently started a business venture together and opened a coffee shop together.
The pair opened up popular spot Fancy That in Garristown with the spot getting rave reviews since opening.
