Dublin football legend Bernard Brogan and his wife Keira celebrate arrival of baby girl

Dublin GAA legend Bernard Brogan and his wife Keira celebrated the arrival of a baby girl today.

Bernard shared a picture of himself holding the newborn baby against his chest at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin.

The 37-year-old and wife Keira are also parents to two-year-old twins boys called Donagh and Keadan.

Bernard, a seven-time All-Ireland winner with Dublin, retired from inter-county football in 2019.

He and PR guru Keira tied the knot in Kilkenny’s Mount Juliet resort in December 2016.

Brogan has previously described her as 'sport-mad' and sent her an emotional message when he retired from inter-county football.

In his statement, he said: "To my wife Keira, for all of your support, patience and counsel over the years; I know we have missed so many special moments and you have carried the load to facilitate endless nights of training and commitments I made on the part of us both.

"Our beautiful boys and I are so lucky to have you and I cannot thank you enough for the loyalty and commitment to us as a family, and to me and my Dublin dream."
