Dublin firefighters help deliver baby girl who 'couldn't wait' to arrive

Dublin Fire Brigade has shared some joyous news with an adorable photo of a mother whose baby just "couldn't wait" to meet her.

Posting the picture on Twitter, they revealed that baby Hayley was born in her home as she was just too eager and couldn't wait to get to the hospital.

Along with the photo of mum smiling at the camera while holding baby Hayley, Dublin Fire Brigade wrote: "Congratulations to Baby Hayley who was in a big rush to arrive and couldn't wait for Mum to get to hospital."

Newborn Hayley was delivered by Dublin Fire Brigade paramedics and firefighters Liam and Craig, who assisted Hayley's mother in her home in Dublin.

Twitter users joined in with the celebration of the new arrival, with one person tweeting, "So lovely congratulations, welcome baby Hayley. Well done Liam and Craig and most of all mum!"

Another wrote, "Great work. You're so welcome, baby Hayley. Best wishes to Mum."
