Dublin Fire Brigade warn drivers to "take care on damp roads today" after crash on M50 wrecks front of car

Dublin Fire Brigade have issued a stark warning to drivers after a road traffic collision occurred on the M50 earlier today.

Road users are urged to drive with extra care in the damp conditions after firefighters and paramedics attended a single car crash on the M50/M1 junction.

Thankfully, the driver escaped the crash without injuries but significant damage was done to the front of the car.

Tweeting about the incident, Dublin Fire Brigade said: "Firefighters/ Paramedics from Finglas Fire Station attended a single car RTC on the M50/M1 junction earlier today.

"The driver escaped injury.

"Take care on the damp roads today."
