Dublin Fire Brigade to the rescue as horse becomes trapped between fence and wall

It was a tough day for a Dublin horse after they become trapped between a fence and a wall.

Dublin Fire Brigade firefighters from Dolphin's Barn were called to rescue the animal that seemed quite calm despite the sticky situation.

Thankfully it was good news as not only did they manage to release the horse but they reunited it safely with its owner.

Dublin Fire Brigade said: "Dolphin's Barn firefighters have helped released a horse after it because wedged between a fence and a wall. The horse has been reunited with its owner safe and sound."

Last month, a pony tragically died after impaling itself on a sharp railing.

The heartbreaking incident happened in Clondalkin after the pony was left to roam free through the estate.

She then tried to jump over a wall and impaled her body on the sharp railings.
