Dublin Fire Brigade to the rescue after cat gets stuck between cavity blocks

Cats can be mischievous creatures that often get themselves into unusual scrapes.

And unfortunately one unlucky Dublin kitty got herself into an awful jam after getting trapped in between cavity blocks.

Kilbarrack moggy Daisy somehow got stuck between the blocks, with pictures showing her looking extremely uncomfortable as she tried to wriggle free.

Luckily, experts from Dublin Fire Brigade were able to free a grateful Daisy from her concrete prison.

DFB shared the heart-warming news in a pun-filled Twitter post.

They said: "Tight squeeze for Daisy the cat today after she got caught between cavity blocks.

"A cat-astrophe (sorry) was averted when firefighters from Kilbarrack station released her in purr-fect (soz) health."

We're not sure we approve of the bad puns but we certainly hope Daisy is feline fine after her scary ordeal.
