Dublin Fire Brigade save fairy house from fiery end in Howth

Dublin Fire Brigade saved a local fairy house in North Dublin from a fiery end after beating a nearby vegetation fire.

Luckily the magical miniatures were unharmed after a close shave with the wild fire.

"Kilbarrack firefighters extinguished a vegetation fire this afternoon in Howth and managed to prevent fire spread to a nearby fairy house," DFB said on Twitter.

"Backpack sprayers were used on the fire."

Thankfully no damage was done to the magical shrine, and as one pleased replier put it, "the fairies will be very grateful for your intervention kind sirs".
