Dublin Fire Brigade came to the rescue again last night after an apartment fire saw four people and a number of pets needing to be rescued overnight.
The firefighters used a ladder to access the roof of the building in Ballyfermot, where thankfully the occupants were safely taken down.
Following the initial rescue, brave members of the DFB entered the building with breathing apparatus in order to save possible any remaining residents.

Eventually, firefighters dealt with the fire and the flames were extinguished before major damage had been done to the building.
Fire crews from both Tallaght and Dolphins Barn stations attended the scene to assist tackling the blaze.

It comes as one person was hospitalised and a school was badly damaged after a fire in North Dublin .
