This terrifying video shows a garage quickly filling up with smoke after a car erupts into flames.
A fire can be seen burning in the back of a raised car as one of the employees is working under it.
The flames quickly spread across the front and back seats of the car as thick smoke fills the premises.
The staff lower the car to open the door and pour water on the blaze and the flames eventually die out.
Dublin Fire Brigade said that while the employees did the right thing by lowering the car, using extinguishers and buckets of water on this kind of fire could have had terrible consequences.
A spokesperson said on Twitter: "If a fire breaks out on your premises only tackle the fire if it safe to do so.
"Staff here did the right thing by lowering the car but this kind of fire would be unsafe to fight using extinguishers and buckets of water."
