Dublin Fire Brigade attends hay barn fire at Kinsealy, Fingal

Dublin Fire Brigade attended a fire at Kinsealy, Fingal, last night (September 19) and were still at the scene some three-and-a-half hours later, having assembled around 8pm.

Four units attended the hay barn fire, including a water tanker.

Initially they reported that "smoke is drifting across the area" and advised those residents affected by smoke to "keep all windows and doors closed".

Later they tweeted that "the fire is visible in the night sky and one unit remains on scene conducting firefighting operations".

They added: "We've made good progress at the hay fire in Kinsealy. A water relay was in place to pump water to the fire."
