Dublin colleges: Here's how much university graduates from the capital earn

The top three universities with the highest average earnings of graduates are all Dublin colleges.

Figures showing how much university alumni around the country earn up to eight years after graduating have been released by the Higher Education Authority.

Trinity, UCD and DCU have the top earners out of all Irish colleges.

First year Trinity graduates earn an average of €550 per week, the highest of any institution.

Four years after graduating, Trinity alumni are expected to earn €744 weekly, higher than UCD's and DCU's averages of €720 and €725 respectively.

Eight years after graduating, UCD alumni are the best off in the country, earning an average of €1,017 per week.

Maynooth University graduates earn the lowest of all universities.

Graduates from there have an average salary of €425 per week in their first year after graduating, rising to €758 after eight years.

The figures are based on data gathered on the PAYE earnings of those with undergraduate degrees who left college between 2010 and 2017.
