A Dublin city councillor has shared an image of a bizarre 99 cone she purchased on Sunday, sparking outrage and laughs online.
Green Party councillor Carolyn Moore, who represents the Kimmage-Rathmines area, received a cone with a Kinder Bueno instead of a Flake.
But worst of all, the 99, which appeared to have a generous amount of ice-cream on the cone, was actually hollow in the middle.
She said: "Today I had a 99 prepared by a maniac.
¨Exhibit A: It had a Kinder Bueno in it instead of a Flake.
¨Exhibit B: It was hollow in the middle.
¨The prosecution rests.¨
The councillor´s followers were united in agreement that the ice-cream was an ¨abomination.¨
One person replied: ¨The Spanish inquisition was started by an injustice such as this.¨
Another tweeted: ¨I hope the Gardai are waking up a judge to get an emergency search warrant for whatever establishment made this abomination.¨
