Dublin chippers to unite and raise funds for Pieta House in memory of beloved member of Irish Italian community

Chippers across Dublin are to unite together to fundraise in aid of suicide and mental health awareness.

Dozens of chippers across the capital will be raising funds for Pieta House following the loss of a beloved member of the Irish Italian chipper community.

Enrico Marsella died last August, leaving his family and friends, the chipper community and his local area of Rathcoole devastated.

Next Wednesday, January 15, will see the locations taking part donating to the charity and staff wearing Pieta House t-shirts throughout the day.

There will be donation buckets on counters, and special offers for walk-in and collection customers.

For €5 customers will be able to get a special meal deal and can choose from fish and chips, a quarter pounder and chips or a two piece southern fried chicken snackbox.

Chippers are being added to the list all the time, with the following currently confirmed to be taking part:
