Good Friday is upon us and while some of you may or may not be in work today, you're in for a big stretch of time off as the long weekend hits anyway.
One Dublin child, Johnny Murphy, believes that every weekend should be like the upcoming one and has even took his request to one of the highest people in Ireland.
Upcoming local election candidate for Dublin South East Inner City, Danny Byrne was left in bits after receiving this request as he was canvassing.

The Fine Gael man spoke in-depth with Johnny about the current set up of the working week and why it should be cut to just four days.
This is something we could get behind.
The letter reads: "Dear Government, please can you put the weekend to three days. I think the weekend is too short. From Johnny Walker.

Byrne said that it was the "cutest request" he had received in his time going from doorstep to doorstep and added that it was "some vital correspondence for Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar."
And Varadkar was more than happy to accept Johnny's sought after request, for this week only though.
He said: "Couldn’t agree more Johnny! Happy to confirm this weekend will be 3 days long."
