Dublin cafe owner's fury as thugs spray paint upside down crucifix and words 'unholy' outside popular coffee shop

A Dublin cafe owner has expressed their rage after discovering that their coffee shop had been vandalised by disgusting thugs over the weekend.

The woman behind WokeCup Cafe in Smithfield posted a shocking picture showing the disgraceful defacement of their popular coffee shop.

The vandals spray painted the words 'unholy' on the ground near the cafe while also drawing an upside-down crucifix on the wall in the horrible incident.

Gardai are currently looking for the culprits with CCTV footage catching the people behind the words in the act.

The cafe's owner Maria took to social media saying that she would not stop until the vandals faced punishment for their actions.

She said: "I'm trying not to get upset and take this personally so I've made the decision to make this public.

"This morning I discovered this vandalism on my cafe. Someone spray painted an inside down crucifix on the cafe wall and the word "UNHOLY" with an arrow pointed towards us."

She added: "This incident has been reported and there is CCTV footage of it."

Dublin Live understands that Gardai are investigating this incident.
