A popular Dublin restaurant and bar was left absolutely baffled when a customer stole a MIRROR from one of its bathrooms over the weekend.
Oscars cafe bar in Smithfield were left absolutely perplexed when the looking glass disappeared from the wall of its ladies bathroom.
But on reflection, it turned out that it had not disappeared into thin air but had in fact been removed by a customer.
In a baffling turn of events, the mirror (mirror...off the wall) has yet to return but the rogue thief appears to have been identified!
Posting to social media, Oscars said: "To the person who stole the mirror from the ladies bathroom on Saturday night.
"I don't know how you can look at yourself!
"PS... ON REFLECTION....WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE (BROWN COAT)."
Many took to show their support to the popular spot, and also made reflective light of the situation.
One said: "In fairness they’re looking at themselves in your mirror", while another added "Mirror mirror on the wall or off the wall maybe!"
While one angry customer said: "How did they get out the door my god should hang yer head in shame ...."
And in a sombre thought, another commented: "Nothing is safe."
