The Dublin cafe mirror theft has taken a turn, as a snitch - who is understood to be a part of the thief's group - has ratted them out.
As reported earlier on Dublin Live, staff in Oscars cafe and bar in Smithfield were left baffled when a mirror was stolen out of the women's bathroom by a customer.
The only details they popular spot had to go on was that the lady was wearing a brown coat, and called for the mirror to be returned.
But now it seems the brown coat lady has been revealed and she's being urged to return it before the situation gets out of hand.
Posting an update, Oscars said: "To the lady in the brown coat...
"There's a snitch in your group.
"We have been onto the guards about the mirror. They are looking into it.
"Do the right thing..... return the mirror before this gets out of hand...."
And the puntastic quips continued on the Oscars Smithfield social media page.
One said: "On reflection, it was a mirror-cle that the others weren't stolen either, the guards will definitely have to look into it."
While another added: "I hope whoever did this takes a long hard look at themselves."
And it seems to entire saga seems to have made more punters eager to visit the spot.
A new customer said: "I’m sorry this happened to your business but at the same time the ridiculousness that someone would do that & the comments are hilarious. I didn’t know of Oscar cafe til now but after reading the story I’ll be making a visit."
