Many commuters have been left annoyed over the last few weeks as Dublin Bus' real time information and timetables on their app and at bus stops has stopped working.
The company has finally spoken out about the breakdown which has frustrated Dubliners so much over the last fortnight.
The company is currently working on restoring the RTPI on street panels across the city but is behind the scheduled works.
System updates were scheduled to take place on last week from Tuesday morning until Wednesday at 12pm but many are still out of use.
Dublin Bus say the system upgrade went as planned but then unexpected technical issues arose.
Users of the service have been venting their fury online but the company has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
They added that they were working to get normal business restored as soon as possible.
