Dublin Bus passenger shares video of 'wheelchair jockey' powering through city streets with his dog

There are certain things you see nearly every day when commuting through Dublin city, and then there are some things that genuinely surprise you.

As David Cummins was sitting on a Dublin Bus, he noticed something very unsual.

Even though Aintree finished on April 4, David was treated to his very own up-close jockey experience, as he spotted a wheelchair-bound man being pulled through the streets near College Green by his beloved pooch.

David took to Twitter to express his amusement, saying: "I just witnessed this in Dublin. World class if you ask me. Wheelchair Jockey. Dublin. The best city in the world."

The man and his dog race past traffic and onlookers waiting for their Luas to arrive. At one point, they even power past a Garda van!
