Dublin Bus has been forced to suspend service once again on part of a route that has been plagued by anti-social behaviour.
The No. 27, which runs from Clare Hall to Jobstown, will not serve the Brookfield and Jobstown areas for the rest of the night.
Drivers had threatened to withdraw service on the day of the General Election to highlight issues of persistent bad behaviour along the route.
That action was averted at the last minute after drivers were assured an inspector would be dedicated to the area and there would be extra gardai on patrol.
But bus officials confirmed that more anti-social behaviour had forced their action tonight.
A statement on the company's website reads: "We wish to advise customers that due to anti-social behavior buses will not serve Brookfield/Jobstown from 2200hrs to last bus Feb. 14th.
"Buses will terminate at Killinarden. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."
