Dublin Bus forced to stop serving two West Dublin roads after anti-social behaviour incident

Dublin Bus have had to divert a route this evening due to anti-social behaviour.

West Dublin routes 79 and 79/A were forced to avoid the Clifton Road and Cherry Orchard Avenue from 5.30pm to 6.30pm before the situation was assesed.

Dublin Bus apologised to customers for the inconvenience.

They said: "We wish to advise customers that due to anti social behaviour route 79/79a will not serve Clifton Road/Cherry Orchard Avenue for the next hour. Service will resume at 18:30.

"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The disruption one of a number of curtailments the route has had to take through the area over the past months.
