Dublin Bus forced to divert the 40 bus for 2nd night in a row due to anti-social behaviour

Dublin Bus has been forced to divert one of it's bus routes due to anti-social behaviour for the second night in a row.

The number 40 bus will be using Farnham Drive and Wellmount Road in both directions.

The bus will not be serving St. Helena's Road for an hour due to reports of anti-social behaviour.

A Dublin Bus spokesperson said: "We wish to advise customers that due to anti-social behavior buses will not serve St. Helenas Rd from 1630hrs-1730hrs Feb. 26th.   Buses are using Farnham Drive and Wellmount Rd. in both directions.

"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Just yesterday route 40 did not serve the Fonthill Road and Neilstown Road for the evening.
