Dublin Bus forced to divert several routes due to anti-social behaviour on Halloween night

Dublin Bus have been forced to divert a popular cross city route this evening due to anti-social behaviour.

Route 27, which travels from Clare Hall on the northside to Jobstown on the southside, will not serve Brookfield in Tallaght for at least the next hour.

The busy service - which runs every 10 minutes at peak times - will instead be partially diverted.

A Dublin Bus statement read: "We wish to advise customers that due to anti-social behavior buses will not serve Brookfield from 1940hrs to 2040hrs .

"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

"Customers can also get updates on  Facebook , follow us on Twitter  @dublinbusnews  or call our customer service line on (01) 8734222, lines open from 08:30 - 18:00hrs  (Monday to Saturday excluding bank holidays)."

Route 79 has also been partially suspended due to trouble on the route.

Dublin Bus said: "We wish to advise customers that due to anti-social behavior buses will not serve Spidall Park from 2050hrs to last bus Oct. 31st. Buses will terminate at Cherry Orchard hospidal."

Meanwhile the 40 bus won't serve Finglas South for the rest of the evening because of anti-social behaviour in the area.

In west Dublin, the 38 and 38A will not serve Corduff for the rest of the night.
