Dublin Bus forced to divert busy route due to anti-social behaviour

A busy Dublin bus route has been forced to divert its route due to anti-social behaviour.

The No 40 has been curtailed off St Helena's Road in Finglas and will operate via Wellmount Road instead until 7.45pm

Dublin Bus apologised to customers affected.

They said: "We wish to advise customers that due to anti social behaviour route 40 will not serve St Helena's Road for the next hour. Bus will operate via Wellmount Road in both directions. Normal service will resume at 19:45.

"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. "

Last week the same route was forced to divert from Neilstown in West Dublin for an entire night due to behaviour drivers were being faced with.
