Dublin Bus forced to divert 27 route again due to anti-social behaviour

Dublin Bus have been forced to divert the 27 bus route once again due to anti-social behaviour.

The route is not going to serve Jobstown for the rest of the night, and will operate to Killinarden via the N81.

Service was withdrawn from the route only last week due to the persistent problems.

Drivers had threatened to withdraw service on the day of the General Election to highlight issues of persistent bad behaviour along the route.

That action was averted at the last minute after drivers were assured an inspector would be dedicated to the area and there would be extra gardai on patrol.

They said: "We wish to advise customers that due to anti social behaviour Route 27 will not serve Jobstown for the rest of tonight. Bus will operate to and from Killinarden via the N81.

"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."
