The north inner city is set to be better served by public transport due to the announcement of a new bus route.
Dublin Bus will begin operating Route 53a on July 8.
It will serve the areas between Talbot Street and East Wall Road, including, Sherriff Street, Gardiner Street, Summerhill, Portland Row, Seville Place, Castleforbes Road and North Wall Quay.
The service will operate Monday to Friday between 10.45am and 2.45pm. A timetable can be viewed here.
In a statement, Dublin Bus said: "Dublin Bus is delighted to announce Route 53a, which will be added to our network from Monday, 8 July 2019.
"Route 53a will operate Monday to Friday between Talbot Street and Sheriff Street Upper, serving Gardiner Street, Summerhill, Portland Row, Seville Place, Sheriff Street Upper, Castleforbes Road, North Wall Quay and East Wall Road.
"With five departures in each direction, Route 53a links key north inner city locations, extending the choice of route options for customers in that area."
