Dublin Bus announce major route changes and additional services

A number of Dublin Bus routes will change and additional services will be added across the network, it has been announced.

The operator revealed that the changes were made to improve services for customers, and provide greater reliability and flexibility.

Dublin Bus claimed that all the additions and alterations have been made as part of the TFI public transport network, Dublin Live reports.

Route 37 will benefit from an additional departure at 07.30 from Laurel Lodge (Monday to Friday) and Route 39a  will have an additional departure at 05.30 from Ongar (Monday to Friday).

These changes will come into place on October 29.

While Route 25 towards Merrion Square will now have an additional departure at 06.55 beginning on October 21. There will also be an additional departure from Merrion Square towards Lucan (Dodsboro) at 16.50.

In response to the demand for weekend services on Routes 68/a and 69, Dublin Bus will be increasing departures on these routes from Sunday 20 October 2019.

Route 69 will also have an additional Monday to Friday departure from Hawkins Street to Rathcoole at 08.15.

There have also been additional departures announced for the 84x which serves between Hawkins Street and Newcastle/Kilcoole that come into effect from October 29.
