Dublin bound train delayed for half an hour due to anti-social behaviour

A train bound for Dublin has been delayed by half an hour after gardai were called to deal with an incident of anti-social behaviour.

The 3:30pm service from Limerick to Heuston Station was delayed by 30 minutes due to anti-social behaviour on board.

Gardai were called to the scene and dealt with the incident.

The delay is having a knock-on effect for other services bound for the station as the 4pm train from Cork is now expected to be delayed.

Irish Rail tweeted:1"5:30hrs Limerick/Heuston service operating 30mins late due to anti-social behaviour on-board, Gardaí have responded and dealt with the incident, 16:00hrs Cork/Heuston service will experience a knock-on delay as a result."
