Dublin barber announces reopening after lockdown with rendition of David Bowie hit

A Dublin barber has taken to social media to commence countdown to the grand reopening of of his store after three long months in lockdown.

From tomorrow bars, cafes, restaurants, gyms and more will reopen Ireland enters Phase Three of the roadmap to recovery.

But arguable the most anticipated reopening is that of barbers and hairdressers across the country with many people most likely in need of some desperate treatment after weeks of quarantine cuts.

And one popular Dublin barber is counting down the minutes until he can welcome customers again.

Peter Quinn took to social media to announce the reopening of The Grafton Barbers in Stillorgan in south Dublin - with a rendition of a classic David Bowie hit.

Donning his guitar Peter performed a superb cover of the Bowie classic 'Space Oddity' as he announced the reopening of his store at 9am tomorrow.

Peter has warned however that they won't be taking appointments for the first two weeks of reopening.

Peter said: "Grafton Barbers Stillorgan will be reopening next week on Monday June 29.

"We'll be commencing countdowns with our engines on and we look forward to seeing you then. Hope you're staying safe and well"
