Dublin and Kerry could be set for rain in All-Ireland Final

Kerry are set to take on Dublin in the 2019 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final - and it could be a wet one.

Jim Gavin's men have lifted the Sam Maguire for the last four years and it's going to be very difficult for Kerry to stop the drive for five.

But it could be a miserable afternoon for 82,000 fans in Croke Park with showers in the forecast.

A mixed day is in store and so the exact weather is uncertain, with experts predicting both sun and rain across the country.

However the capital could make a lucky escape, with the worst of the "heavy showers" expected in the northwest.

Met Eireann are predicting "fresh and cool on Sunday with sunny spells and scattered showers.

"Again some of the showers could be heavy, especially in the northwest with the risk of hail and thunder.

"Top temperatures just 14C to 17C with moderate to fresh west to northwest winds."
