Dublin Airport unveils new craft beer pub and restaurant

The latest upgrade at Dublin Airport have been unveiled with a new craft beer bar and restaurant set to open in Terminal 1.

Food operator SSP will operate a total of 24 food outlets in Dublin Airport and will work with Irish brands such as The White Hag, Hugh Maguire - The Smokin’ Butcher, Teeling Whiskey and McCloskey’s Bakery.

This new dining experience will also put the environment at the forefront of its operation with a focus on sustainable packaging and the removal of single-use plastics.

Customers will be able to order drinks and food from the comfort of their table as well as contactless menus to make the dining experience as smooth as possible.

Vincent Harrison, Managing Director at Dublin Airport said:

“Delivering the best customer experience and a true sense of place has been the key objective. This is just the first of three phases, which will ultimately see the food and beverage offering at Dublin Airport transformed.”

Passengers flying through Terminal 2 can also expect an improved dining experience over the coming months.

A new Starbucks coffee unit and a new dining concept called Whiskey Bread, from SCC Teeling Whiskey, will open soon.

A new casual dining experience called The Fallow will also open in the international departures lounge in T2 in early 2022.
