Dublin Airport travel warning as changes made to mandatory hotel quarantine list

Another country has been added to the list of designated states for mandatory hotel quarantine, Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly announced.

Passengers who do not have a valid proof of vaccination or recovery arriving from or transiting through Fiji in the previous 14 days will be required to undergo hotel quarantine.

The rules will be in place starting from 04.00 on Wednesday, 18 August as Fiji will be added to the booking system for hotel quarantine.

Additionally two countries have been removed from the designated states list.

Passengers travelling from Indonesia and Seychelles will be no longer required to undergo mandatory hotel quarantine.

A full list of designated states can be found here.

If you are travelling to Ireland, you must fill out an electronic Passenger Locator Form before departure.

You also need appropriate valid proof of vaccination or recovery, or to present evidence of a negative RT-PCR result from a test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival into the country.
