Dublin Airport travel warning as another country added to Ireland's mandatory hotel quarantine list

Another country has been added to Ireland's mandatory hotel quarantine list, Health Minister Stephen Donnelly has announced.

People who are not yet fully vaccinated arriving in Ireland having been in or transited through these states in the previous 14 days must enter mandatory hotel quarantine.

Kazakhstan is the latest addition to the list.

Non-vaccinated passengers arriving from Kazakhstan will have to enter quarantine from 4 am on Friday, August 13.

The country will soon be included on the booking system for mandatory hotel quarantine.

People travelling from a non-designated state will be expected to fill out an electronic passenger locator form before departure.

They will also be required to present a valid proof of vaccination or recovery, or to present evidence of a negative RT-PCR result from a test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival into the country.

You can find a full list of designated states here.
